About B & M Joinery - meet the team
B & M Joinery Cromwell is currently a team of 8 (9 if you count Oakley!) with a combined experience of more than 70 years in the industry.
We are truly passionate about our product and can turn our hand to anything joinery-related. We love a good challenge.
Meet all our team members below:
Brendon Munro
Hailing from Southland, Brendon has been a joiner for more than 20 years. He began his apprenticeship in Winton for a local joiner, where he worked his way up in the business to become a project manager responsible for 18 staff members.
Seeking a lifestyle change, Brendon moved to Cromwell with his family in 2011, where he has been working as the workshop foreman for a local joinery business.
Kate
Kate has come from a travel consultancy background and is onsite at the factory 3 days a week looking after the administration side of the business. She’ll be the one collecting your money, keeping you updated on Facebook and looking after things behind the scenes.
Leigh
Leigh is the face of our Sales team and is one of the first friendly faces you’ll encounter when you come in to see us in the showroom. Leigh is passionate about “creating beautiful things” and his love for design shows through when he meets with clients. He feels he can utilize his skillset to help people create a beautiful home and bring more value for their money. When not in the showroom Leigh can be found exploring his newfound Central Otago home, snowboarding, tramping and building cool stuff.
Georgie
Georgie is part of our superstar admin team, making sure all the behind the scenes stuff gets done! When not at work, she can be found going on adventures with family and friends, or hanging with her menagerie of farm animals.
Carl
Carl is originally from Durban where he worked in a family joinery business. His favourite aspects of joinery are working with the CNC machine, fitting, and designing. Carl is a big family man who has a great passion for hunting and Harley Davidsons.
Stephen
Stephen has been with the B&M Joinery family for three years and loves the way good design and function impacts lives and changes the environment. His favourite joinery job was a house in Bannockburn which featured a variety in materials and technical challenges, and he enjoyed the challenge involved and seeing it all come together. When not on the workshop floor Stephen can be found creating bespoke furniture or spending time with his family.
Dion
Dion has been part of the B&M Joinery team for more than a year and a half and is our resident apprentice. He came to us as a machinery expert and this shines through as he loves working with our CNC machines, and maintaining the machines in the workshop.
Asides from joinery, Dion is passionate about his sports and is a huge Chiefs fan – but we don’t hold that against him!
Eamonn
Eamonn is another of our joinery team, having recently joined the team. Eamonn says his love of joinery is best summed up in a W.B Yeats quote describing it as “a lonely impulse of delight.” When not in the workshop Eamonn’s interests include reading a wide range of topics, virtual motor racing and comedy.
Eammon is camera shy and this is the best look-a-like we could find lol
Judy
Another recent addition to the B&M Joinery family, Judy hails from the Philippines where his favourite project was installing cabinetry imported from England in the Aston Martin showroom. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the joinery industry yet says he is still always learning, with machines and techniques changing. He loves installing onsite and seeing clients reactions when they see their new joinery.
Oakley
Oakley is our wee office friend at the factory and receives lots of cuddles and love from the team throughout the day, even the odd treat! He loves meeting our clients and is always keen for some extra attention.
