Make a splash!

A splashback is not just a practical component in your kitchen, it’s an opportunity for you to let your style shine through. Over the years, many trends have come and gone in the splashback area – from the classic square tiles with farmyard scenes we all remember from our childhoods to stainless steel and the ever-popular subway tile. But now there is a new kid on the block, and we dare say that it is going to stick around for many years to come.

A shining moment for glass

Glass may not seem the most obvious choice when it comes to choosing a hardwearing and durable material for your kitchen splashback, but it has become a firm favourite in the past few years. Glass splashbacks are heat-resistant and certified for use next to ovens and stovetops, and can withstand any of life’s little knocks. They are also highly customisable, so you can create just about any look you can think off. When it comes to glass, the only limit is your imagination. Plus – there is no grout, so it is super easy to clean!

Painted glass

Add a pop of colour to your kitchen with painted glass! A painted glass splashback is clean and durable and can be manufactured in any colour you can think off. You don’t even have to stop at the splashback. These panels can also be used on kitchen islands to further carry the theme of the kitchen.

Slumped or textured glass

A textured glass splashback can be a work of art in its own right. You can choose to have a relief of your favourite mountains, an inspirational quote, or even a picture of your cat applied to the splashback, or just go with an abstract pattern to add interest and depth.

Printed glass

For a bold statement, look no further than printed glass. The glass is printed using advanced printing technology that ensures long-lasting, vibrant colours. With printed glass, you can really let your imagination go with anything from a colourful geometric pattern to a photo of your favourite beach or even a wood texture to add a bit of warmth to the room.

Mirrored glass

Mirrored splashbacks add space where there is none. Clear mirrors create a clean and modern look that can be used to emphasise or obscure elements in the kitchen. A more subtle option is to use smoky or antiqued glass to create a sense of space without being overwhelming.
