About B & M Joinery - meet the team
B & M Joinery Cromwell is currently a team of 8 (9 if you count Oakley!).
Our two Directors, Mark and Brendon, between them have more than 50 experience in the industry and their goal has always been to set up their own joinery business. They are truly passionate about their product and they can turn their hand to anything joinery related and love a good challenge.
Meet all our team members below:

Brendon Munro
Hailing from Southland, Brendon has been a joiner for more than 20 years. He began his apprenticeship in Winton for a local joiner, where he worked his way up in the business to become a project manager responsible for 18 staff members.
Seeking a lifestyle change, Brendon moved to Cromwell with his family in 2011, where he has been working as the workshop foreman for a local joinery business.

Mark Harrison
Originally from the United Kingdom, Mark spent 15 years working as a joiner on Grade 1 listed buildings where he used a variety of traditional woodworking techniques on the historic buildings.
Mark worked as a joiner in Alexandra for five years, before working for the Department of Conservation for four years where he renovated the departments’ old buildings and huts. For the past couple of years he has worked as a self-employed builder.

Kate
Kate has come from a travel consultancy background and is onsite at the factory 3 days a week looking after the administration side of the business. She’ll be the one collecting your money, keeping you updated on Facebook and looking after things behind the scenes.

Stephen
Stephen has been in the joinery game for 25 years and is also incredibly passionate about the product. He’s always keen to read over industry magazines and illustrations to learn about the latest trends. He’s a skilled joiner and a much-valued team member.

Chelsea
We’re excited to have Chelsea as part of our team. She has a very keen interest in joinery and was top of her woodwork class! Chelsea adds to the fantastic atmosphere out on the factory floor and our factory dog Oakley loves her! Chels is an avid netballer, and also plays touch rugby. She just completed the first year of apprenticeship with us, and we are super proud of how she is progressing and developing as a joiner.

Michael
Michael came to us all the way from South Africa. He has been doing woodwork for over the decade but is always looking for ways to improve his knowledge and skills. Michael loves fishing, playing guitar, mountain biking and, of course, braaing!

Carl
Another South African in our midst, Carl is originally from Durban where he worked in a family joinery business. His favourite aspects of joinery are working with the CNC machine, fitting, and designing. Carl is a big family man who has a great passion for hunting and Harley Davidsons.

Dion
Rounding out our team is Dion. He came to us as a machinery expert and is going to start his joinery apprenticeship soon. Dion is a family man with a lot of interests including darts, pool, snooker, archery, and hunting. He enjoys the vibe out on the floor, and we enjoy having him here!

Oakley
Oakley is our wee office friend at the factory and receives lots of cuddles and love from the team throughout the day, even the odd treat! He loves meeting our clients and is always keen for some extra attention.
